Chapter Twenty Three
Kade and I are quiet on the drive to breakfast. We pull up at a cute looking cafe and I can see Ashley standing there, leaning against her car. She's wearing denim short shorts and a pink tank top. She has a full face of makeup on and strappy wedges on her feet. I roll my eyes as Kade jumps out to go give her a hug. She grabs onto him and gives me a smug look. Do not hit her, Nikki, I repeat like a mantra over and over in my head. I walk over and Kade pulls me into his arms. I glance over at Ashley and she looks like she has swallowed a lemon.
The tension is so thick during breakfast, but Kade acts like nothing is wrong or that he doesn’t even notice it. I’m not sure which one is worse. Kade and Ashley are talking amongst themselves, but I’m just enjoying my breakfast and drinking my coffee. I don’t even bother to attempt to make conversation. Ashley pretends I’m not there, but Kade doesn’t. She watches silently as he feeds me a few bites from his plate.
A hot waiter comes over and asks if we need anything else. He stares over at me as he says it, not hiding the fact that he's checking me out. I avoid eye contact and don’t encourage him. I hear Kade bark out for the cheque, his voice harsh. We leave the restaurant, and before we make it to the Hummer, Ashley asks Kade what’s wrong.
“I don’t handle other men eyeing my girl very well,” he says through clenched teeth.
Ashley says nothing, but looks down at her feet. Kade glances over at her, and asks if she’s okay.
“I’m fine,” she says, sullen. Kade wraps her in a hug, and says he’ll see her later.
We get in the Hummer and I turn in my seat to face him. “She wants you,” I say knowingly.
“Not now, Nikki,” he sighs, resigned.
I sigh and think of a good way to salvage this morning. I take my seat belt off and lean towards him.
“What are you doing, Nikki?”
Instead of answering him, I undo his pants, grab his dick, and pull it out. Without hesitation, I suck him into my mouth, enjoying my treat.
“Shit,” Kade groans roughly. “You’re gonna get us into an accident.”
I stop what I’m doing and glance up at him, smirking.
“Then you better concentrate on driving, huh?” I say before I get back to my work. It’s not long before he finds his release, pulling my head back, and finishing in my hand. He knows I don’t like that shit in my mouth.
I sit back in my seat and buckle up, cleaning up with the facial wipes I have in my handbag. “You’re gonna be the death of me, fuck. What a way to go though, right?” he says with a grin.
I giggle.
